Infectious diseases are one of the serious disease groups that can develop with acute or time-spread complications and pose a life-threatening risk. Diagnosis and treatment services of these diseases and microbiological laboratory studies are carried out by Infectious Diseases and Microbiology units. There are many types of diseases that fall within the field of Infectious Diseases and Microbiology. Diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of all kinds of diseases caused by microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses and parasites in our hospitals are carried out meticulously by multidisciplinary teams consisting of specialists and healthcare professionals.

In our department; All of the diseases caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV, AIDS, jaundice (hepatitis), typhoid, brucellosis, tuberculosis and similar diseases, febrile diseases, urinary tract infections, influenza, diarrhea, respiratory infections, Treatment of many diseases such as brain and spinal cord infections such as meningitis, encephalitis, soft tissue infections, diabetic foot infections, food poisoning, intensive care and surgical site infections. In addition to the follow-up and treatment of these diseases, travel vaccines, adult immunization (vaccination), travel medicine counseling services are also provided. Infectious Diseases Unit also performs the necessary studies to control, monitor and minimize hospital infections; gives trainings to patients, patient relatives and related personnel in this regard.
